The 10th edition of Cosmoprof Asia, held Nov. 9-11 in Hong Kong, saw an 8 percent increase in international visitors, including 5,351 visitors from China, 963 visitors from Australia and 760 visitors from the United States. Over 1,000 exhibitors from 36 countries showcased their products to nearly 40,000 attendees. Product sectors included perfumery, cosmetics, hair care, and packaging.

This year, the event welcomed a female delegation from Iraq and Afghanistan, thanks to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Connecting the World through Beauty program. The program’s goal is to help both countries reconstruct beauty-related industries through a multiplier effect, as participants in the program return home and help train local women.
